Leadership: A little boy and his temper

There once was a young boy with a very bad temper. The boy’s father wanted to teach him a lesson, so he gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper he must hammer a nail into their wooden fence.

On the first day of this lesson, the little boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. He was really mad!

Over the course of the next few weeks, the little boy began to control his temper, so the number of nails that were hammered into the fence dramatically decreased.

It wasn’t long before the little boy discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Then, the day finally came when the little boy didn’t lose his temper even once, and he became so proud of himself, he couldn’t wait to tell his father.

Pleased, his father suggested that he now pull out one nail for each day that he could hold his temper.

Several weeks went by and the day finally came when the young boy was able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

Very gently, the father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.

“You have done very well, my son,” he smiled, “but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same.”

The little boy listened carefully as his father continued to speak.

“When you say things in anger, they leave permanent scars just like these. And no matter how many times you say you’re sorry, the wounds will still be there.”

Think about it ...

Students do not learn much just sitting in classes listening to teachers, memorizing assignments, and spitting out answers. They must talk about what they are learning, write about it, relate it to past experiences, and apply it to their daily lives.

Matrics, always remember ...

the cost of discipline is always LESS than the price of regret. So, self-discipline, is the BIGGEST investment for success in LIFE!

Good luck for the last school exam. Only your best is good enough!

Poem: Rainbow nation

A land full of beauty and magic
It's found down at the planet's heart
With different racises at start
A land like no other
With its people divided
The land suffer

Sons and daughters
Their anthem cries
They sing T-O-G-E-T-H-E-R
And seem together
Thier voices cover the hearts
That hold commotion

South Africa
A land like no other
With its people divided
The land suffer
Unity is enslaved
It's forced to unionize

Mothers and fathers
Who chose to go otherwise
With their sons and daughters
Who vote to unionize
SOUTH AFRICA
A land like no other

In order to establish a routine and manage the classroom, it was necessary for students to follow the rules established by the teacher. Here are some rules that the students would have to follow:

1. Respect the schoolmaster. Obey him and accept his punishments.
2. Do not call your classmates names or fight with them. Love and help each other.
3. Never make noises or disturb your neighbours as they work.
4. Be silent during classes. Do not talk unless it is absolutely necessary.
5. Do not leave your seat without permission.
6. No more than one student at a time may go to the washroom.
7.  At the end of class, you must wash your hands and face. Wash your feet if they are bare.
8. Bring firewood into the classroom for the stove whenever the teacher tells you to dot this chore.
9. Go quietly in and out of the classroom.
10. If the master calls your name after class, straighten the benches and tables. Sweep the room, dust and leave everything tidy.
