Think about it: The value of the dash ...

Lives lived, love shared, triumph, defeat, celebrations, laments – all reduced to the dash between the dates. Is that all our lives come to?

The dash between the birth and death dates on a tombstone symbolizes an entire lifetime.

It represents all the time spent on earth, emphasizing that how you live, love, and treat others matters far more than material possessions.

The poem's core message is to make the most of your "dash" by being kind, showing appreciation, and living authentically.

Think about it ...

When the term gets tough, a strong mindset can make all the difference.

"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time."

Think about it ...

A new term is a fresh start and the perfect time to reset goals. To stay motivated, focus on setting short-term, achievable targets rather than just distant ones, and remember that every mistake is a stepping stone.

Think about it ...

Each day is an opportunityto have a fresh start.
It doesn't matter what happened yesterday,
all that counts is today.
When you wake up in the morning,
know that today is full of opportunities
waiting to be grabbed.
It is a new day, a new start,
the beginning of anything
you want awaits you!

Think about this: Bill Gates explains why his daughter can't marry a poor man

Bill Gates once revealed why his daughter would never marry a "poor man" and it has nothing to do with money.

A few years ago, I attended a major financial conference in the U.S. One of the key speakers was Bill Gates. During the Q & A session, I asked him a question that made the audience smile: “Would you allow your daughter to marry a man with no wealth - someone who lives modestly?”

Bill responded calmly, but with striking depth:
"First, we need to redefine wealth. True wealth isn't just about having six figures in a bank account. It's about the ability to generate value - to create opportunities and resources. Someone who wins a $100 million lottery isn't suddenly ‘rich.’ They’re still poor in mindset - just temporarily holding money. That’s why so many lottery winners go broke within years."

Then he contrasted that with another kind of person:
"An entrepreneur - even one without a penny - often thinks big. They invest in knowledge, build financial intelligence, and operate from abundance. They’re already rich in mindset."
So what's the real difference between the rich and the poor?
The wealthy mindset is always learning, growing, and seeking solutions.
The poor mindset blames the government, the economy, or the elite - waiting for life to 'give' rather than taking initiative.
“When I say my daughter won’t marry a poor man, I’m not talking about money. I’m talking about mentality.
If a man knows how to build a future, even if he has nothing today - he is already wealthy.”- Bill Gates

He also shared a story:
A security guard at a bank once found a bag filled with money. Instead of keeping it, he returned it to management. Some called him foolish.
One year later, he got promoted. Three years later, he was leading the customer service division.
Ten years later, he became regional director. His annual bonuses now exceed what he found that day.
Wealth is a state of mind and character.
Money simply follows.

Think about it: Empathy ...

Mike Sissel said: " Empathy is both feeling with someone during moments of heartache and pain AND celebrating with someone during moments of celebration and accomplishment. We’re good at the former part, but often fail miserably with the latter."

Dink hieroor: Vervang Negatiewe Gedagtes

Think about it: Poor sportsmanship ...

Team members with poor sportsmanship learned from their parents to be toxic and it is not acceptable. The goal should be to teach them to only ever encourage and raise their teammates up.
Self centered and self absorbed comparison of self to others in order to make self look better only fosters negativity and intentional hurt.

Dink hieroor: Gebruik jou negatiewe gedagtes positief

Begin NOU!!

Think about it: Successful in life ...

Jocker Wilson: "I've coached a long time and I do not focus on winning games as the primary objective. I focus on building great young men. Teaching them the tools to be successful in life. Tools to not only become a better athlete, but a better person too. If you do this the right way, and teach kids these things and everything you know about your sport, the wins come naturally."

Think about it: Self-motivation ...
