Soccer: HTS vs St Dominic's College

HTS Welkom vs St Dominic's College, rivalry slowly developing into earth-shaker, made-for-TV-league ficture. On the 20th of July 2022, Tekkies participated in a local derby with St Dom's U/15 en U/17 football teams.

Tekkies U/15 football coach described the fixture as a "beautiful, ground breaking contest amongst the two  schools."

The purpose of the league is to further develop their education and football talent. The children enjoy life-skills education illustrated through playing and this wouldn't have been possible without both schools agreeing to participate in the programme/league.

We expect success stories to come out of our league programmes and it's imperative our young vibrant coaches and administrators upheld mission and vision of their respective schools.

Basketball

HTS vs Unitas 33-9

In what should be a rivalry between neighbouring schools, the match didn't disappoint. The match was full of jubilation from both ends of the court but most importantly was the display of passion, discipline and work ethic.

Coach Moloi said: "School athletes want to display their talents and we as teachers, coaches and managers, we have a responsibility to provide a safe, equal platform."
