Construction is about planning, designing, creating and finally building infrastructures or facilities. People that work within the construction sector, generally see the project through from start to finish. Built environment is the man-made construction of homes, shopping centres, office blocks and even water and energy networks.

Construction and Built Environment bursaries provide financial assistance to students pursuing qualifications in fields such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Urban Planning, Property Development, and related disciplines.

How to write a Motivational Letter for a Bursary Application

Top 2027 Bursary Opportunities

Bursary applications for the 2027 academic year in South Africa are opening early, with key opportunities from Sasol, SAICA Thuthuka, and DSI-NRF available, primarily focusing on STEM, accounting, and postgraduate studies.
