New website of FSDoE with digital learning for teachers and office-based educators

Remote teaching and learning create incredible opportunities for effective learning and collaboration outside of the classroom. Our current situation, the national lockdown, has led to a loss of teaching and learning time and has brought on many challenges and uncertainties about the immediate and future status of learning.

The ELearning section of the Free State Department of Education has developed a beautiful website with a digital learning content pack for teachers and office-based educators to help strengthen remote teaching and learning practices.

It is aimed at developing your skills, learning and exploring new tools as you facilitate remote teaching and learning. This self-paced learning journey is divided into five modules as shown below.

Here they are (Click on each name to go to the channel):

HenBot Wetenskap: A YouTube channel by Henriëtte Botha.

Presteer in Wiskunde: A YouTube channel by Helencia van der Walt. Note that Technical Sciences and Mathematics are addressed as well.

Get a Grip on Physical Science: A YouTube channel by Johan Human.
Note that the contents are bilingual.
