Congratulations once again to the Class of 2025

Our Principal and SMT proudly represented HTS Welkom at the prestigious Well Done Function, hosted by the Free State Premier, Ms. Mj Letsoha-Mathae, and the MEC for Education, Dr. Mj Maboya, in celebration of the outstanding achievements of the Class of 2025.

The event took place on 16 January 2026 at the Central University of Technology in Bloemfontein, where excellence in education across the province was recognised and celebrated.

We are extremely proud to share that HTS Welkom stood out among schools in the district and was honoured as the Top Technical School in the district. This achievement reflects the hard work, commitment, and resilience of our learners, as well as the dedication of our educators and leadership team.

Our matric results, including our strong pass rate and achievements highlighted in the official report, are a true testament to the quality of teaching and learning at HTS and the unwavering support of our parents and school community.

Uitslae: Matriekklas van 2025

Die matriekklas van 2025 het alle rede om fees te vier nadat hulle 'n 92,13%-slaagsyfer in die 2025 NSS-eksamen behaal het.

Baie geluk aan elke matrikulant en hul ouers met hierdie uitslae. Ons is baie trots op elkeen van julle.

Baie geluk en baie dankie ook aan elke personeellid vir jul toegewydheid, ekstra klasse en leiding aan die leerders. Sulke uitslae val in niemand se skoot nie.

Matrieks, mag al jul harde werk vrug dra in die toekoms. Dit was 'n voorreg om die pad van 2021 tot 2025 saam met julle te kon stap.

Mag die Vader se guns en seën oor elkeen van julle wees vir 'n geseënde en suksesvolle toekoms.

Friday: the matrics' official last day

Friday marked a special milestone for our Matrics - their official last day at HTS Welkom!

The day was filled with celebration and sentiment as they enjoyed a beautiful Bon Voyage Breakfast, signed the National Pledge, and rang the bell to mark the end of their school journey. Learners and teachers shared smiles and memories while signing shirts - a perfect reminder of the friendships and moments made along the way.

We are incredibly proud of each one of you and the determination you’ve shown throughout your school career. As you prepare to tackle your final exams, remember: this is not the end, but the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
