This morning, we welcomed the Gideon Ambassadors to our school to visit our Grade 8 learners. They once again shared the incredible impact they make by distributing Gideon Bibles in schools.

As part of their visit, they generously provided our learners with Bibles, ensuring that each student could receive God’s Word.

Spreading God’s Word through Bible distribution can lead people to faith in Christ. New believers grow by studying Scripture and can even use it to share their newfound faith with others.

We are grateful for their visit and for their work in making God’s Word accessible to so many.

Gideons besoek HTS Welkom

Dis al ‘n ou Tekkie-tradisie dat die Gideons die skool besoek. Hierdie jaar het hulle weer 'n treffende boodskap aan die leerders oorgedra.

Die leerders is dan ook bevoorreg om ‘n Bybel van hul eie te ontvang. Hiermee word die saad op vrugbare grond gesaai en hopelik sal dit die vrugte dra wat daarby pas.

Saam met mnre. Johan Vorster en Ben Barnard is van die graad 8-leerders wat 'n Bybel ontvang het. Hulle is Kgosi Mokgaudi, Ntandazo Nyiki, Francois Booysen en Demitri Barnes.
