1. Leadership- A person should have leadership skills and
should have experience in leading a certain project, organisation and or an
event.
2. Change & Betterment- They asked questions based on
change and the betterness you could bring as an individual to CUT. Changes such
as student affairs, lack of funding for students, student support services (people
dealing with anxiety disorders, depression and etc)
3. Prejudging- There was a few hours of prejudging that was
hosted by all judges at the venue before the event. Where each one asked
different question based on the issues impacting students and the campus as a
whole.
4. Confidence- They also needed confidence. They believed
that a person could have all attributes, but then fail to have confidence and a
voice to speak up. Therefore, confidence was one of their top attributes they
raised during awards.
5. Lastly, they
wanted people who were friendly and helpful. You can also have all these above-mentioned
attributes, but also fail to have moral values and fail to be a shoulder to
lean on- and that is mostly what students need.
