Victory for our U19 Soccer Boys!

We are proud to announce that our U19 Soccer Boys have been crowned Welkom Central League Champions!
Under the leadership of Lwazi Mbangela, the team showed true determination, discipline and teamwork throughout the season.
A special shout-out to our top goal scorer, Lerato "Lax" Mokhele, for his incredible performance and finishing skills in front of goal.
Well done, boys - you have made your school proud!

Kelner onverstoord: "Seker, Meneer! Sê net vir my watter vlieë jy nie van hou nie en ek sal hulle verwyder."

* Besige Will se pa word uit die die hospitaal ontslaan.

Ma: "Will, jy moet nou soet wees en baie stil. Die dokter het jou pa se blindederm verwyder en hy het baie pyn."

Will: "Het pa dit ook op huurkoop gekoop?"

* Drie Goudvelders besluit om hulle vakansie sinvol te gebruik en skryf in vir 'n diepseeduikkursus in Durban. Opgewonde maak hulle gereed vir hul eerste sprong. Een van die ouens vra toe: "Wat moet ons doen om die eksamen te slaag?"

Die instrukteur se antwoord: "Kom terug."

* Daar word vertel dat 'n sekere professor gedurende die tagtigs aan sy klas meegedeel het dat dit 'n feit is dat voëls net tot twee kan tel.

'n Student, wat 'n goeie indruk op die professor wil maak en begerig is om die punt verder toe te lig, roep uit: "Ja, Professor, ek weet vir 'n feit dat bobbejane nie verder as drie kan tel nie!"

Die erns van die lesing is verbreek deur 'n klas wat uitbundig lag, en die prof. besluit om die klas se aandag terug na die lesing te skok.

The Secretary's Prayer

Dear Lord,I NEED HELP. Help me to be a good secretary, and help me to have the memory of an elephant, or one at least three years long. Help me by some miracle to be able to do six things at once, answer four telephones at the same time while typing a letter that must go out today. And, when that letter doesn't get signed until tomorrow, give me the strength to keep from going over the brink of hysteria. Never let me lose patience, even when the boss has me searching the files for hours for data that is later discovered in his desk.

HELP ME to have the intelligence of a college professor; help me to understand and carry out all instructions without being given clear explanations. Let me know always just where the boss is, even though he left without telling me where he was going. And when the year ends, please let me have the foresight not to destroy records that will be asked for in a few weeks, even though I was told to destroy them all.

In a world of constant change, your reliability remains a constant source of strength. Thank you for all that you do.
