The grade 11 learners are currently busy with the project
part of their PATs.
For this, they have to build a
car from cheap, readily available material that uses only elastic potential
energy to propel the car. The idea is based on what is commonly known as a
mousetrap car, but learners have the freedom to design their own. Apart from
designing and building the car, a small scientific investigation must also be
done by using the car. Best wishes to our future engineers!
