Youth urged to lace up for cause ...

Ebi Coetzer, Mr Sandveld 2018, is the Face of the Goldfields Hospice 2019 Tekkie Tax campaign. Tekkie Tax will be held on 31 May this year.

Ebi has a heart for the less fortunate and urges other teenagers to give their support to the Goldfields Hospice Association by wearing their tekkies with pride.

He will be doing Tekkie Tax sales for hospice in the community, starting this Saturday (06/04) at the Goldfields Mall. Goldfields Hospice serves the Goldfields area and looks after 260 patients and their families on a monthly basis.

“We will celebrate Tekkie Tax Day on 31 May this year, to raise funds for our local community. The funds raised during this project will be used in the Goldfields. Please support this initiative and wear your tekkies wherever you are, and think of so many that do not have shoes,” says Marli Young, manager of Hospice. Get your Tekkie Tax sticker for R10, a badge for R15 or hickies (silicone shoelaces for R40 per pair, including a sticker) from the Goldfields Hospice office at 58 Montague Street, Bedelia.

Dial 057-353-2152 with orders and enquiries.

Businesses and Schools who are interested can send their orders via WhatsApp to Ebi on 061-745-4645.
