LOL: Blou Maandag-humor ...

Onderwyser: "Ek wens jy wou 'n klein bietjie aandag gee."
Juan: "Ek gee so min aandag as wat ek kan, Juffrou."

ooOOoo

Onderwyser: "So, jou hond het jou huiswerk geëet?"
Lukas: "Ja, Meneer."
Onderwyser: "En waar is jou hond nou?"
Lukas: "Hy is by die veearts. Hy hou net so min van wiskunde soos ek."

ooOOoo

Think about it ...

"When you fill your mind with throughts, your life will start to change."

"The life you want is on the other side of the things you haven't done yet."

"No matter how slow you go, you’re still moving faster and farther than those standing still."

Poem: Beauty - my queen

First time I saw you, I wouldn't believe my eyes
They laid on you, I couldn't move them
My whole body froze you are the one ...
My beauty, my queen!

I had never seen one like you
So beautiful, no one compares
A lady of my dreams, before my eyes
You, the one - my queen!

I rubbed my eyes with disbelief
Was it possible, an angel right here?
A heavenly rose on earth
The one - my queen!

Inside my dead heart, love blossomed
With a frozen body, my emotions ran high
And this, this was the end of celibacy
For you my queen, had arrived!

Like a diamond you shone
A well built lady, like no other
I had found someone to live for
For you my queen, had arrived
My lovely queen, had arrived!!

HTS groet Kabelo Moroka

'n Graad 12-leerder, Kabelo Moroka, is Sondag, 15 September 2024 oorlede.

Rus in vrede!

Dankie, Israel Xaba, vir die foto.

Tips for third term: Ways to Improve Your Memory

1. Walk Before An Exam

It’s been proven that exercise can boost your memory and brain power. Research conducted by Dr. Chuck Hillman of the University of Illinois provides evidence that about 20 minutes exercise before an exam can improve performance.

2. Speak Out Loud Instead of Simply Reading
Although this may make you look a little crazy, give it a go! You will be surprised how much more you can remember when you’ve said it out loud. Warning: Don’t try this in a crowded library!

3. Reward Yourself With A Treat
There are many ways to integrate a reward system into your study habits.

4. Teach What You Have Learned
The best way to test if you really understand something is to try to teach it to someone else. If you can’t get anyone to listen to you explain the Pythagorean Theorem, why not teach a class of stuffed animals!

5. Create Mental Associations
The ability to make connections is not only an easier way to remember information, but it’s the fuel of creativity and intelligence. Steve Jobs famously said “Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something.”  Mind Maps are an easy way to connect ideas by creating a visual overview of different connections.

6. Draw Diagrams
Drawing diagrams will help you to visualise information which would be hard to describe. This creates a visual memory in your mind which can be recalled in an exam. You may even be asked to draw or label diagrams such as the human heart in your exam so get practicing!

7. Watch a Documentary on the Topic
Documentaries are an entertaining way of compacting an entire story into a short timeframe. This will help you remember key details from a story plus you may even get extra credit for mentioning that you took the initiative and watched a film about the topic!

LOL: Blou Maandag-humor ... Eksamen-blapse

Polonius was 'n soort van 'n mitologiese wors.

Worthy

The reflection of my beauty is defined by how I look at myself, would anyone say I speak of a mirror that hang motion less on the wall or the one that stands on the floor?

As the world orbits on its axis, the mirror sees me different as days are never the same. For it is true that some days my beauty is not present, but present is I, who stand infront of a mirror.

What is it they'll see as I take a step outside my doorstep? Will they see what I've seen in the mirror? Will my confidence boost or hinder by the first compliment or critics?

Is it well that I now read encomium, for it never fails to deliver me a message my mirror fails to tell me?

Loving myself has become difficult for I myself can't say 'I do'. Here I stood facing the reflecting glass motionless with only me moving inside 💠, with no sound. Evident that I'm empty, sad😢 and broken 💔. For my beauty is never of how the world would like it to be, and I myself lived envied and mean, for I wasn't seen worthy.

Perhaps it's true that it all begins with oneself. I couldn't see my own beauty, yet I still expected the world to.

LOL: Blou Maandag-humor ...

Hy verander in 'n zombie.

Hy moet Engels ekstra klasse neem. Hy slaag Engels goed in matriek en gaan universiteit toe.

NOU: Die onderwyser kry die skuld. Piet is getraumatiseer.
