Poem: A Youth Day poem

The June 16th dawn, a somber hue,
Young hearts ablaze, a fearless view.
A march of hope, a vibrant call,
For freedom's dawn, standing tall.

Through streets of strife, they bravely trod,
Their voices raised, a faith in God.
A nation's dreams, a burning fire,
Fueled by their courage, reaching higher.

Though bullets flew, a chilling sound,
Their spirit soared, on hallowed ground.
A legacy forged, in blood and tears,
A lesson learned, through passing years.

Today we stand, in unity's embrace,
Inspired by them, with hopeful grace.
To build a future, strong and free,
For generations yet to be.
