Education is important: Part 11
- Economic: As the Bureau of Labour Statistics stats reveal, people with some form of higher education earn more money and have a lower probability of unemployment.
- Health: Gainful employment and a positive cash-flow take away the stress factors associated with financial insecurity. As such, you are likelier to live a happier and healthier life with some form of college under your belt.
- Civic involvement: People with gainful employment and financial resources often give back to the community. When you earn well and your network expands, you are more likely to give to charity and become involved in volunteer work.
- Personal development: People with careers tend to lead more structured lives and have a stronger sense of responsibility, traits that serve as strength-builders in other areas of life.
- Better communication: Most jobs involve some form of written or verbal communication. As such, you will generally improve in both areas during your college and professional career.
- Realisation of passions: As with most people, the more you learn, the likelier you are to find your true passions in life. Through the education process, you can explore the various facets of a prospective field and find your strengths.
- Greater sense of discipline: The regiments of education can instil you with the discipline required in the professional world. By learning to follow complex instructions and meet strict deadlines, you will be better prepared for the rigours of the marketplace.
- Sense of accomplishment: Each time you complete a school assignment or job task, it’s the product of your talent and hard work.

Prayer for exam anxiety
Only your peace can sustain me through the anxiety
Lord, come and remind me of your unfailing love.
Remind me that you hold me safe,
I lay down my fears before you.
I leave them at the foot of the cross,
I choose to give you all my concerns,
I trust that your loving hand will hold me through these exams
Amen.

Exam prayer
The Lord is my shepherd
of what shall I be afraid?
He peacefully lets me
enter the exam room.
He enlightens my intellect
He leads me in the consciousness of learning
for His name's sake.
Even when I look at the paper
and find the questions difficult
I will stay calm,
as He is with me.
The goodness of my teachers
and what they taught me,
will bear fruit and I will live
to praise His name
for all eternity.

Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody – Who Are You?
Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody – Who Are You?
That’s Not My Job!
This is a story about four people named: Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody‘s job.
Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realised that Everybody would not do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
Who are you? Everybody? Somebody? Anybody? Or Nobody?
So in conclusion, Anybody or Somebody must commit to do their part so that someday it will inspire Everybody to follow and Nobody is left behind!

The Parable of the Balloons
When she let the people into the other room, she asked them to find the balloon with their name written on it. And to do it within 5 minutes. Everyone set to work frantically looking for the balloon with their own name. They bumped into each other. Some even pushed others. There was much chaos in the room. At the end of 5 minutes, no one had found their own name.
Now, Sarah asked each person to collect a balloon at random and give it to the person whose name was written on it. Within minutes everyone had their own balloon.
This is exactly what happens in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where to find it. But if you give others their happiness, you will uncover your own happiness. This is the truth of happiness.
