Be That Change...

Everything We Are Experiencing Has Already Happened Before, Just In A Different Time Frame. It Is True That History Has A Way Of Repeating Itself. We See This In The Daily Struggles We Experience As Individuals Only To Find The Solution To Your Problem From Someone Who Has Gone Through More Or Less The Exact Same Thing.

As A Species, The Biggest Mistake We Could Make In Our Time Here On This Planet Would Be Not To Learn From Our Forefathers And Their Past To Further Develop And Sustain Future Generations To Have Them In Turn Learn And Adapt Parts Of Our History, Incorporate It Into Themselves And Build From There. We Need To Focus On Finding Solutions For Problems In Such A Way That Can Be Fundamental In Our Evolution.

Jacob Wrestled With God In The Desert Till He Broke Him And He Blessed Him And He Rescued His Heart. Do Not Let The Stigma That One Person Can't Possibly Change The World, Stop You From Trying. A Trend Is Started By One Person And Soon Spreads Throughout The Community As Soon As It's Relevance And Apathetic Use Is Realised. Productive Change, No Matter How Small, Has To Start Somewhere. Don't Sit Around In The Hopes That Someone Else Will Come Along And Do It For You.

Be That Change.

Labelling...

Looking At People Today, More Specifically In Our Country, I Honestly Do Not See A Way Forward If We Continue To Classify Each Other Under Certain Hierarchies.

People Have Become So Accustomed To Labelling And Grouping Each Other That It Has Blurred The Line Between Preference And Stereotype.

Feminism, A System Implemented To Help Empower Women, Has Become Distorted Is Now Used To Advocate Black Women From White Women On Their Day To Day Struggles In Life And How One Group Is More Privileged From The Other.

Classism And Ethnic Groups, Logistical Tools Used To Regulate People Based On Economic Principles In Order To Address Short-Comings And Upliftment, Has Become A Way Of Showing Bias Towards Others Based On Financial Status And Skin Colour, Moreover Based On Social Background.

And So It Goes On. I Have Never In My Life Seen Anything More Absurd. In Recent Times, Every Label That Is Subjected To A Society Ends Up Being A Racial Debate Or Grounds For Discrimination Based On A False Sense Of Entitlement. What Worries Me Is The Endless Cycle Of Hate That Is Perpetuated Throughout The World Linking To Events Past. I Feel That If We All Believe That We Were Created In The Image Of God, To Live And To Prosper In His Image, Then Surely Nothing Can Stop Us From Uniting And Working Together Towards Productivity In Unison For A Better Tomorrow Regardless Of The Colour Of Your Skin. It Is Surely Not Allah's Will For Us To Exist In Fear And Hatred For Our Fellow Man. In The End, All We Do Is Work Against Each Other And Surely You Cannot Hope To Achieve The Buddhist Enlightenment Without Following His Virtues. At The End Of The Day, The Blood That Runs Through Our Veins Is All Red, The Colour Of Love And Compassion. The Marvel That Is Our Anatomy, The Same Mystical Design. Surely We Are All Birds Of A Feather, Destined To Flock And Grow Together With The Thought Of A House United Standing Tall.

It Is My Belief That No One Entity Is Better Than The Next. Without The Soil, The Tree Would Not Grow To Produce Oxygen For Man. In Some Way, We All Depend On Each Other To Survive, Everything Else Is Unnecessary. Let's Move Forward Together, Hand In Hand, Black, White, Coloured, Hispanic, It Doesn't Matter. All These Labels Do Is Shackle Us To The Darkest Confines Of Our Minds Where Tranquility Will Never Be Achieved.

Hi, My Name Is Mas And I Am A Human Being, Part Of A Species, Not A Culture. #Vision2020

Mev. Anderson is tops!!

The team played a friendly against Welkom High last week. A heated game against the vicious Welkom High Basketball team. It looked like the THS team was destined to lose with the first three quarters of the match ending with Welkom High with 14 points and THS at 9 points. In the last quarter of the match however the THS team proved their will and commitment by winning, with the match ending with a score of 17 points for THS Welkom and Welkom High with 16 points.
