Die Toyota Stadion in Bloemfontein het plek vir 46 000 toeskouers. 'n Aardige klompie mense bymekaar om 'n rugbywedstryd te kyk. As Tekkie Tonic se 330 000 e-besoeke deur 46 000 gedeel word, dan beteken dit die stadion kan 7 keer volgepak word.

Of as daar in terme van sokkertoeskouers gedink word, dan is die Peter Mokaba Stadion in Polokwane (die ou Pietersburg) een van die gunstelingstadions, met 'n kapasiteit van 45 500. As die deelsom gemaak word, beteken dit dat Tekkie-Tonic se e-lesers daardie stadion ook 7 keer kan volpak.

Welkom. - Goeie nuus is onlangs deur die Nasionale Verkeersveiligheidsraad bekend gemaak! Volgens die Raad is vroue beter bestuurders as mans en sterf meer manlike bestuurders as vroulike eweknieë jaarliks op ons paaie.

Volgens die NVVR is sowat 68% van die motorbestuurders in ons land mans, terwyl die oorblywende 32% vroue is. Wanneer daar egter na statistiek oor die sterftes en beserings gekyk word, is die koers baie hoër onder mans.

Gedurende 1983 was daar 4 073 973 gelisensieerde manlike bestuurders en 2 806 971 vroulike bestuurders. Sowat 1 974 mans is noodlottig beseer in motorongelukke terwyl 150 vroue gedood is. Van die mans is daar 27 897 beseer en slegs 4 925 vroulike bestuurders is beseer. Dit kom daarop neer dat 93% van alle bestuurders wat noodlottig beseer is, mans is. Slegs sewe persent van die bestuurders is vrouens.

VISTA is besig met 'n ondersoek onder ons plaaslike bestuurders, maar dit wil voorkom asof die skaal omgeswaai het onder die Godveldse bestuurders. Verdere inligting sal in die volgende uitgawe van VISTA gepubliseer word.

We are proud to announce that our U19 Soccer Boys have been crowned Welkom Central League Champions!
Under the leadership of Lwazi Mbangela, the team showed true determination, discipline and teamwork throughout the season.
A special shout-out to our top goal scorer, Lerato "Lax" Mokhele, for his incredible performance and finishing skills in front of goal.

Dink hieroor: Vervang Negatiewe Gedagtes

Om negatiewe gedagtes te vervang is nie maklik as jy nog in die skool is nie. Almal rondom jou kla. Die kinders omdat die huiswerk te veel is en die toetse te veel en te moeilik. Die onderwysers kla omdat die huiswerk afgeskeep word en die toetspunte so swak is.

Dis egter nie 'n verskoning nie ... As jy ‘n negatiewe gedagte het, vervang dit dadelik met ‘n positiewe een. 

Byvoorbeeld, as jy dink: "Ek het te min vir my toets geleer." Verander die gedagte: "Ek moet vir die volgende toets beter beplan en meer leer."

In Loving Memory ...

It is with deep sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of our learners.
Lesego touched the lives of many with his warm smile, gentle heart, and positive spirit. 

As a school, we mourn this great loss and extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. May his memory be a blessing, and may we all find comfort in the moments we shared with Lesego.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. The HTS staff and community mourn with them and offer our deepest condolences.

May his memory live on in our hearts.
